'I heard shouting and screaming': Residents react following fatal stabbing in Walsall

Residents have spoken of their fears following a Walsall stabbing that left a 22-year-old man dead.

West Midlands Police have launched an investigation into the death of a 22-year-old man who was stabbed in Bloxwich Road, Walsall, at around 5.15pm on Monday. 

The man was quickly rushed to hospital following the incident, however, he sadly died just before midnight.

Now, concerned residents have spoken about their fears following the fatal incident, and expressed their pleas for more to be done to stop knife crime in the region.

Sukhi Singh, 48, a resident of Bloxwich Road, said: "I couldn't believe it to be honest. I heard some shouting, then it sounded like someone was screaming. I didn't want to see anymore after that, to be honest."
