The Lichfield Street site, including the old Equator nightclub building and neighbouring Grade II listed property, will go under the hammer with a guide price of £360,000.
The site will be sold with consent to demolish the former nightclub, which closed its doors in 2018, while retaining the front of the listed Victorian warehouse building next door.
The sale includes planning permission to create a 14,000 sq ft, 28-apartment development after proposals were approved by Walsall Council back in 2022.
The site will be listed at an auction held by SDL Property Auctions, part of property business Eddisons, on March 27.

Andrew Parker, auctioneer and partner at SDL Property Auctions, said: “With planning consent already secured, this is a rare opportunity to develop an attractive residential scheme that will provide sought-after accommodation for the buoyant Walsall town centre residential market.
“Innovative developments like this one are in demand in the town and the fact that significant investment to enhance and regenerate the town centre is currently underway bodes well for this site as a really good investment opportunity.
"This Lichfield Street site is also less than half a mile from the train station and Walsall has great transport links to the likes of Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Lichfield, adding to its appeal as a place to live.”
The auction will be live-streamed by SDL Property Auctions. Register to bid by March 26 by visiting sdlauctions.co.uk.
