Prom Season being made affordable and sustainable by Wolverhampton charity

Compton Care is offering a solution at its Mander Centre clothing store for parents looking to save on the costs of prom night, while also supporting a good cause at the same time. 

The store, located on the Upper Level of the Mander Centre, next to Matalan, is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

A spokesman for Compton Care said: "With Year 11 students, sixth formers, college leavers, and university graduates preparing for their final celebrations, the expenses for transport, hair, and make-up can quickly add up. 

"However, Compton Care is ensuring that the prom dress itself doesn't have to break the bank.

"Located next to Matalan in Wolverhampton's popular Mander Centre, Compton Care's latest store features a wide range of beautiful, pre-loved prom dresses and accessories, with prices starting from just £19.99. 

"This initiative not only makes prom more affordable but also promotes sustainability."

From floor length ball gowns to figure hugging mermaid style dresses, Compton have more than 40 dresses in stock with many new items being added daily.

All proceeds from the store support Compton Care's mission to provide specialist care and support for the local community.
