Popular Walsall Greggs branch is getting a facelift in time for spring
A popular Walsall town centre takeaway is getting a facelift. The front plate glass windows and doors have been ripped out at the Greggs in Park Street.

Workmen can be seen beavering away at the branch at Park Place Shopping Centre formerly known as the Quasar Centre.
There is construction fencing at the front of the premises and signs telling customers that operations will resume soon.
There are other branches in the Saddlers Shopping Centre and in Digbeth, Walsall.
The chain has been approached for comment.
