Five men charged in connection with Neo Graham told they have until April to admit or deny charges

Five Wolverhampton men have been told they have until April to plead guilty or deny murdering Neo Graham.

Koketso Ximba, 22,  Aaron Osei, 22, Deric Da Silva Ferreria, 19, Fabio Bandarrinha, 20, Elie Mey, 24, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court via video link from HMP Hewell and HMP Brinsford.

Ximba, of Montano Drive; Da Silva Ferreria, Fifth Avenue, both Low Hill, and Bandarrinha, Powell Street, Heath Town are charged with murder and Osei, South Road, Erdington, and Mey, Inkerman Street, Heath Town, face conspiracy to murder charges.

All the defendants besides Ximba also face charges after being stopped in a Nissan the day after Neo, 23, was shot dead in Eastfield Grove, Wolverhampton, at 3.20pm on March 4.

Osei, aged 22, is also charged with possession of firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of prohibited ammunition, possession of Class A Drugs with intent to supply and possession of criminal property (money laundering). Da Silva Ferreria, aged 19, charged with murder, possession of firearm with intent to endanger life; possession of prohibited ammunition; possession of Class A Drugs with intent to supply and possession of criminal property (money laundering). 

Bandarrinha, aged 20, charged with murder, possession of firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of prohibited ammunition, possession of Class A Drugs with intent to supply and possession of criminal property (money laundering) and Mey,  charged with murder, possession of firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of prohibited ammunition, possession of Class A Drugs with intent to supply and possession of criminal property (money laundering), possession of a firearm when prohibited for five years. 

The case was adjourned until Friday, April 11, when a plea hearing will take place.

Justice Michael Chambers KC told the defendants: "Your case is being adjourned until April 11 when you will be asked to plead guilty or not guilty.

"You have ever right to a trial but you will get more credit the earlier you plead guilty. You will need to be remanded custody in the time being."
