Luke Hall, 32, of Burnt Tree, Tipton, was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court after pleading guilty to making indecent images of children between February 2021 and June 2022.

Hall would target children online and pretend to be a teenager, even uploading an image of a child as his profile picture, and quizzed them about sex and requested sexual photos.

The 32-year-old was flagged to officers from West Midlands Police sexual exploitation team who raided his home and found several devices.

Due to the difficulty of proving the age of the children Hall chatted to online, Hall was not charged with communicating with a child in a sexual way.

Whilst on bail and awaiting sentence Hall continued to trawl the internet for child porn and after a 'cry of conscience' handed himself to a police station in November last year.
