Police enquiries ongoing into death of mum in Staffordshire village

Police enquiries into the death of a mum-of-five in a Staffordshire village are ongoing.

Natasha Callan, aged 48, was found dead at a house on Main Street, Stonnall, at 7.50am on February 25, prompting a police investigation.

A 53-year-old man, from the Lichfield area, was arrested on suspicion of her murder but was released on conditional police bail.

On Monday (March 10), Staffordshire Police confirmed enquiries are ongoing and the man remains on conditional bail.

Ms Callan, from Stonnall, was the youngest of six siblings, a mum to five children and had several nieces and nephews.

In a touching tribute issued by Staffordshire Police following her death, her family said: "Looking at her picture, you will not hear her loud laugh or feel the warmth of her big hugs or feel the clasp of her hand over yours, but she was all these things and more, and we will forever miss her.

“Natasha, your memory will always live on in the hearts of your family in Dublin and California… this is not goodbye it’s until we meet again X."
