West Midlands Railway has announced that, due to a fault with the signals on the tracks, trains travelling from Wolverhampton to Birmingham New Street will face delays of up to 15 minutes.
The disruption is expected to continue until around 9am, during which some services will be redirected through Bescot Stadium.
Passengers who reach their destination 15 minutes late or more are entitled to receive a refund. This can be done by visiting Delay Repay on the West Midlands Railway website.
Platform four at Wolverhampton Station is also out of use today due to a staff shortage.
The rail company has apologised for any inconvenience.
The Eurostar has also been halted today after an unexploded WWII bomb was found near the tracks between London and Paris.
France’s national train operator SNCF said in a statement that traffic would be stopped at the Gare du Nord until mid-morning at the request of police.
