A second man has also been receiving hospital treatment for gunshot wounds.

Today, Mr Graham’s family said in a statement released through West Midlands Police: “We are shocked and devastated at the tragic loss of our dearest Neo.

"He was a loving, caring, family-oriented person who was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.

“There are no words to describe how this loss has impacted our family and wider community.“

"Almost 200 people attended the vigil and balloon release held in his memory at the scene of this horrific crime.

"All present were respectful and consoling each other.

“We would like to thank all those who have sent messages, flowers, well wishes and visited.

“We appeal for any information that can lead to the arrest and successful conviction of the perpetrators who robbed us of Neo."

Five men, aged between 19 and 48, were arrested from a car in Birmingham on Wednesday night on suspicion of murder.

One of them has since been released and will face no further action.

Police have been given more time to question the remaining four as the investigation continues.

Officers have been carrying out extra patrols and working with the community to offer reassurance in the wake of the tragedy.

Detective Superintendent Shaun Edwards, from the force's homicide team, said: "A young man has tragically lost his life and we have teams working round-the-clock to establish exactly what happened and why."

"We are making good progress in our investigation and we'd continue to ask anyone with information to contact us.

”We've set up a dedicated website where you can send information and video such as mobile phone, doorbell or dashcam footage, images and other information.

People with information can visit the online portal (https://orlo.uk/srRG8), call 101 or use Live Chat on the force website, quoting 3288 of March 4.
