Appeal launched after man's phone stolen from Birmingham shop counter

West Midlands Police have launched an appeal for information after a man's phone was stolen in Birmingham.

The bloke was collecting food from the counter of a shop on New Street around 10.30pm on November 23 when he was punched in the face and his phone was stolen. 

Police have now released photos of a man and woman they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We’ve been investigating, including going through CCTV – and we’re asking for your help in identifying the man and woman pictured, as we’d like to speak to them.
