Here's what you need to know about the first day of the world's most prestigious dog show.
Hundreds of people have already arrived at Birmingham's NEC to attend the first day of the fantastically furry Crufts Dog Show.

The show, run by the Kennel Club, takes place over a four-day period, and will feature man's (and woman's) best friends showing off the skills of their breed for the top places in the competition.
The halls are already packed as people gather around the shop stalls and show rooms ready for the events of the day.
Today's events include agility and heelwork, and a special show by the highly trained police dogs of West Midlands Police.
In preparation for the day, here is a full timetable of all today's events:
