Dudley hospital's charity looking for egg-cellent response to appeal

A hospital trust is looking for donations of Easter eggs for its patients.

The Dudley Group NHS Charity has launched their Easter Egg Appeal for patients across the group for a second year in succession.

They will then be distributed to patients at locations served by the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust including Russells Hall Hospital, Corbett Outpatient Centre, and Guest Outpatient Centre.

 Diane Wake, chief executive of the trust, said: “Our charity plays a central role in enhancing the experiences of our patients and Easter is no exception!

"We hope the public can continue in offering their generous support for this appeal.” 

Amy Sargent, lead nurse on the Forget Me Not Unit at Russells Hall Hospital, said: “Our patients on the ward love these Easter treats, all donations make a real difference to their experience.”

The Dudley Group NHS Charity supports The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust by enhancing the wellbeing and experience of patients and staff by providing services and facilitates not routinely funded by the NHS or the trust.

 Whether it’s a single egg or multiple ones, all donations are welcome and will make a difference patients’ Easter this year.
