Woman set to face trial after being arrested for multiple robbery offences in Fordhouses

A woman is set to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court after being charged with multiple robbery offences.

Nicola Murray was arrested on Saturday and charged with robbery, attempted robbery and possession of a knife following a robbery at a shop and attempted robbery at a café in Fordhouse on Saturday.

The 40-year-old, of Winchester Road in Wolverhampton, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday (March 4) and was remanded in custody, to stand trial in April.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "A woman, aged 40, has been charged following a robbery at a shop and an attempted robbery at a café in Fordhouses on Saturday, March 1.

"Nicola Murray appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court yesterday charged with robbery, attempted robbery and possession of a knife.

"She was remanded in custody ahead of appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court next month."
