Police renew appeal for man wanted for his part in Wednesbury shooting
West Midlands Police have renewed an appeal to trace a 33-year-old man who is wanted after a shooting at a former Wednesbury club
Ricardo Mendez is wanted in connection with the shooting at MJs Bar, Bridge Street, Wednesbury just before 4am on August 13 2023. He is believed to have fled the country.
Gunman Shaquille Blake was jailed for more than 30 years at Birmingham Crown Court last month, but Mendez is still at large.
The police put out an appeal on national television on Tuesday morning (March 4) and are keen to trace him.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We're working with various agencies to try and locate Mendez, and we're keen to hear from anyone with information which could help us.
