Police launch appeal after man injured in Pensnett hit and run

Police have launched an appeal after a man was hit by a car in Pensnett.

The incident happened on High Street, Pensnett near Russells Hall Hospital, on February 3 at around 6.10pm.

It is understood there was a minor collision between a van and a black BMW.

The driver of the van left his vehicle to speak to the driver of the BMW, but then was hit by the BMW.

The suspect failed to stop and fled the scene. 

The victim was taken to hospital and was treated for his injuries.

A man, aged 29, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving but has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
