Disruption on railway due to trespassers on track at Birmingham results in Stafford-New Street changes
Railway passengers heading through Birmingham International are facing disruption due to trespassers on the track.

All lines are blocked between Birmingham and Coventry resulting in services being diverted or delayed.
Meanwhile services between Stafford and Birmingham New Street in both directions are being handled by regional operators Cross Country and West Midlands Railway.
West Coast Mainline operator Avanti posted on X, formerly Twitter: "@CrossCountryUK@WestMidRailway are conveying passengers between Stafford and Birmingham New Street in both directions until further notice."
