Woman seriously injured in Staffordshire double dog attack - police launch investigation
Staffordshire Police have launched an investigation after a woman received serious injuries as the result of a dog attack in Cannock.

Staffordshire Police were called to the scene of Allport Road, Cannock, at around 12.50pm to reports that a woman had been attacked by two dogs in the area.
The dogs believed to be an XL Bully and XL bully cross, attacked the woman near the Citizens Advice Bureau in the area.
The woman was taken to hospital, where she was treated for serious arm injuries.
Both dogs have since been seized by police after the owners agreed to hand them over to officers, with Staffordshire Police now launching an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We are investigating after a woman received a serious arm injury after being bitten by two dogs in Cannock.
"We were called at 12.50pm this afternoon (Thursday 27 February) to Allport Road to reports that a woman had been attacked by two dogs – believed to be an XL bully and an XL bully cross – near the Citizens Advice Bureau.
"The woman has been taken to hospital. No-one has been arrested. The dogs’ owner has agreed for the dogs to be seized as we investigate."
No one has been made as a result of the incident.
