Staffordshire man jailed for harassment and fraud offences
A man has been jailed after he pleaded guilty to a number of harassment and fraud offences across the Midlands.

James Green, formerly known as Neil Phillips, was sentenced to 21 months in prison at Stafford Crown Court on Monday, February 17.
The 42-year-old, of Uttoxeter, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of stalking, two counts of harassment without violence and multiple counts of fraud by false representation on August 1, 2024.
Staffordshire Police said that Green used various aliases to hire vehicles across the Midlands to target his intimidating and unwanted advances towards his victims.
He was sentenced to 21 months in prison for fraud by false representation and 15 months for controlling and coercive behaviour. The sentences will run concurrently.
Investigating officer, PC Martin Banton, said: “The lengths that this individual went to in order to hide his tracks and the constant intimidation of all that he came into contact with is nothing like I have investigated for the last 21 years.
“It took for us to predict his next move and put measures in place to counteract his behaviour to keep his victims safe throughout.
“We will not tolerate acts of fraud or harassment and we will look to send you to prison for your offending and we will protect victims of crime”.
