Nervous car driver arrested in Black Country for having no licence

A man caught behind the wheel in the Black Country without a driving licence has been arrested and the car seized.

Officers based at Brierley Hill pulled him over due to the car being driven in a nervous manner yesterday(25).

Brierley Hill Police posted on the X network: "@BrierleyHillWMPThe driver of this vehicle in Wollescote got nervous with us behind him, so much so he forgot the meaning of a give way sign! We think he also forgot the meaning of needing a licence to drive. 

"I’m sure the courts will remind him. Vehicle seized, driver reported."

Meanwhile West Midlands Police traffic unit carried out three arrests and seized 17 vehicles as part on an ongoing operation on regional roads yesterday(25).

The team posted on X network: "WMP Traffic@Trafficwmp #RHPT & some officers from our Road Crime Teams continued with #opscalis today. 17 vehicles recovered today, 2 disqualified drivers arrested & charged & a wanted male arrested for fraud offences."
