Claire Evans, of Wavertree Close, Telford, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday (February 24), ahead of a trial of five men accused of attempting to murder Michael Osbourne, who was shot last September.
Evans, 46, spoke to confirm her name and to reply "not guilty" after the charge was read to her.
The charge levelled at Evans is that she "committed a series of acts with intent to pervert the course of public justice".
Specifically, it is alleged that "between September 28, 2024 and September 25, 2024 in Telford with intent to pervert the course of public justice, [Evans] did an act, namely assisted an offender, which had a tendency to pervert the course of public justice".
