Man suffers 'serious injuries' to face in assault at Stourport pub

A man suffered "serious injuries" after being assaulted at a Stourport pub.

The incident happened at The Port House on Bridge Street at around 11pm on February 22.

The victim was approached by three men who threw "several punches" to his face and body, a West Mercia Police spokesperson said.

He was taken to hospital with "serious injuries" to his face, the force added.

Two men, aged 21 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and are now on police bail.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses of the assault to come forward.
