Joanna Battison drunk seven cans of Fosters lager on July 2, last year, before taking an axe to a bike on Cannock Road, Chadsmoor, mistakenly believing it was another man's property.

When neighbours tried to stop her attacking the bike, she waved the axe at them before being restrained by one of the residents.

When arrested Battison told police she "was tipsy but not blackout drunk" and admitted she had mistaken the bike believing it belonged to someone else.
