Walsall Police has issued the appeal from Warwickshire Police to ask for help finding 13-year-old Ruby, who it said had been reported as missing on Wednesday from her home in Walsall.

It said that Ruby may have travelled to Bedworth on Thursday and described her as 5ft 6ins tall with a slim build and long, brown hair and was last seen wearing light brown flared trousers and a black leather jacket.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: "Have you seen Ruby? We're asking anyone who knows where the 13-year-old might be to get in touch.

"She was reported missing on Wednesday and may have travelled from her home in Walsall to Bedworth yesterday.

"She's described as around 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with long, brown hair and was thought to be wearing light brown flared trousers and a black leather jacket when she disappeared.

"We're becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare so if you can help, please contact us."
