Ryan Griffiths, aged 29, died after he was allegedly struck by a car in Burleigh Road in the Merridale area on August 21 last year.
Aden Wright, aged 26, of Griffiths Drive in Ashmore Park in Wednesfield is due to stand trial on Tuesday (February 18) charged with the murder Mr Griffiths who died from his injuries two days later.
