Damien Kidson, 41, of Broad Lanes, Wolverhampton, kicked and punched the woman in the street and then further attacked her in his kitchen after sniffing cocaine in his living room.

Kidson and his victim had gone out on December 12, 2021, before he began acting erratic and then abusive.

Prosecutor Manninder Chagger, told Wolverhampton Crown Court: "The two met on Tinder. The pair met and the evening began positively. They began drinking at his home and then at a snooker club. He then changed his attitude when he was driving.

"She got out his car because he was frightened. She got back into the car and he became aggressive. When she got out of the vehicle she felt a blow to the back of her legs and head and she felt sick because she was concussed.
