The 18-year-old will be the fourth generation in his family to become a professional driver including his uncles and his grandad, whose death last year inspired him on his path.

Alex recently took a seven day intensive training course with Willenhall based The HGV School Limited and then passed his test last Friday with flying colours at Featherstone - he can now legally drive any size truck in the UK.
Already he has been offered two jobs with West Midlands haulage firms and credits the training school and instructor Sukhjit SIngh (Sukhi) who he says made it straightforward for him despite him having ADHD which means listening and attention spans can be challenging.
He said: " I remember being with my father and grandfather and seeing them drive and have the opportunity to travel around the UK and Europe and being inspired by that,.
"And seeing all of the big trucks driving past, exploring different places and seeing different amazing views, is when I realised, that being a driver is truly one of the best jobs anyone could have.
"From that young age i set myself a goal, that as soon as i was old enough to drive, this is the path i would work towards, so at age 17, I passed my car test first time, then shortly after my 18th birthday, i passed my HGV first time., a dream come true.
"But the final thing that really pushed me to just do it was my my grandad passing away in September 2024, and this was one of the last things I told him i was going to do, we had a very close relationship and he was always very supportive and proud of me.
"The training process for me was fantastic, as suffer with ADHD so keeping focused and listening can be quite tricky, but the team were fantastic, especially my instructor (Sukhi), he made the experience for me really, and Kate Sanders (the general manager) was always supportive.
She said: "Alex has done really well, he was focussed on what he wanted to do , was determined to do it and listened to the instructors on what is a tough course coming throgh the test first time which is not something that is very common - we wish him all the best in his future career."
