A convoy said to be around 200 people strong, gathered at Birmingham's New Street Station just before 4pm on Valentine's Day before driving through the city centre led by the group's media van.
The group came to a stop at Birmingham Airport at around 6.54pm, where they blocked the airport's carpark, attempting to bring airport operations to a stand-still.

The protest comes as drivers claim that 'unfair pay, rising costs, algorithmic control, trip radar exploitation and dynamic pricing manipulation' are the reasons behind the action.
The drivers also protested over an end to 'unfair' fixed pricing, where drivers are paid the same amount, regardless of the length of the trip.
Private Hire Drivers' Alliance chairperson Minhaj Uddin said: "Enough is enough. Drivers will not be taken for granted by Uber anymore.
"The whole country is coming together, and this is just the beginning."
West Midlands Police were on the scene to stop the drivers from getting directly to the airport, with the taxis instead pulling up to the NCP car park on Terminal Road.
The car park was blocked up until 9pm, when the demonstration finished.
The Birmingham Airport protest was part of similar protests taking place in London, Manchester, Liverpool and Leicester.
Uber has been approached for comment.
