The 41-year-old 'Dance (with U)' singer claims to get a stronger reaction from audiences outside of London as he looks forward to his show in Birmingham on February 15.
Speaking to the Express and Star, he said: "I know people say it a lot, but anywhere up north from London, it just gets more and more and more and more exciting.
"I love coming to Birmingham and travelling up and down the country, too Manchester, etc. I'm not sure why - whether it's that people are generally less excitable in in London or not.
"But when you go up north and you perform, you just know the audience is always sing along at the top of their voices, and as an artist, it makes you do a better performance."
