Davenports, which is based in Smethwick, has pledged to help out families during the half term week by running a Kids Eat Free offer between February 17 and February 21.

The offer will take place at Davenports My Local pubs, which include the Butler's Bell in Stafford and the Post House in Kidderminster, and will allow one child to eat for free from the Kids Menu when dining with an adult who is ordering a main course from the Main Menu.

Davenports marketing director, Katie McPhilimey said: “Half term can be an expensive time for families, trying to keep the children entertained and fed.

"Our generous Kids Eat Free offer means that we have taken some of the expense out of that break for them.

"A My Local is all about terrific value and delivering more for the customers spend with us, from the free live entertainment at weekends and the free sport on our screens, so this plays into the generous spirit of our My Local pubs.”
