Brierley Hill driver left facing court for not having car insurance after police spot a defective vehicle light
A driver has been left with no car and a court date after a police stop due to a defective rear light turned into something more serious.

Officers from Brierley Hill Police pulled over the Silver Fiat in Brierley Hill on Thursday evening due to how it was being driven and a defective rear light.
Checks by the officers found that the driver had no insurance and no tax, so the car was seized and the driver reported to court.
A spokesman for Brierley Hill Police said: "On patrol, we have stopped this car due to the manner of driving and a defective rear light.
"Checks revealed the driver had no insurance and no tax.
"We have seized the car under the road traffic act and reported the driver to court."
