Officers were alerted to a break-in at a building within the city's bus station just after 10.20pm on Sunday (February 9).

Five teenagers were detained by police in the nearby Queen Street shortly after and a bag containing a knife was recovered.

Two boys aged 13 and 15, and three girls aged 17, 15 and 15, remained in custody on Monday on suspicion of burglary and possession of a blade as enquiries continue, a West Midlands Police spokesperson said.
