Ritchie Massey will get the grill going this Saturday morning (February 8) at Massey's Cafe on Fountain Lane after West Bromwich Albion signed Southampton striker Adam Armstrong on loan just as the transfer deadline window closed earlier this week.
Mr Massey had made the promise online as he said he never expected the club to be able to sign the player due to the Baggies' financial issues - but when the deal went through he said he was delighted.
He said: "I just thought it wasn't happening, not with our financial difficulties, so I put the tweet out which said that if we actually sign him, there'll be free sausage sandwiches before the next home game.
"He signed very late on and I was looking in Twitter around when the transfer window was closing at 11pm, and it took another 12 hours, but we eventually did sign him - and what a signing it could be for us.
