Scuffle which started inside West Midlands nightclub led to assault

A Wolverhampton woman who became embroiled in a nightclub scuffle with two others and when ejected, assaulted them with her shoe, has been given a suspended prison sentence.

Mariah Tyson had earlier admitted two offences of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against Rose Grubb and Charlotte Jackson.

The court heard all three had been ejected from White China nightclub, Ladywell Walk, Birmingham on November 13 2023 after an argument looked like it may turn violent.

April Beech, prosecuting, said: "They carried on the argument outside the premises, their was a scuffle and Tyson took off her right shoe as the victims walked away, trapping them against nearby railings 

"She hit Miss Grubb over the head with the heel initially and when Miss Jackson tried to intervene, she also was attacked.
