Unique Lego tribute paid to Marcus Rashford as welcome to Aston Villa

A unique welcome has been paid to Marcus Rashford following his arrival at Aston Villa through the creation of a special Lego mini-figure.

In a tribute to the forward's arrival at Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United, Legoland Discovery Centre Birmingham has unveiled a mini-figure of the England international.

The mini-figure can be seen being given a warm welcome to Birmingham while wearing Aston Villa’s home kit, displaying the number 9 on its back, and the display also features a full recreation in Lego of Villa Park, with a game going on.

Amy Langham, General Manager of Legoland Discovery Centre Birmingham, said: “Marcus mentioned that joining Aston Villa was an ‘easy decision,’ and our team here at Legoland Discovery Centre Birmingham felt the same in making him feel at home.

The Marcus Rashford minifigure will be on display at Legoland Discovery Centre Birmingham until further notice.
