Police appeal for info after man and woman attacked with glass bottle in unprovoked assault in Dudley

Officers are investigating after a man and woman were attacked with a broken glass bottle in Dudley and left needing hospital treatment.

West Midlands Police is appealing for information on two people officers want to speak to after a man and woman were assaulted outside the Ye Olde Foundry, in Mill Street, Dudley.

They were both attacked with a broken glass bottle at about 5am on November 30.

The attack is thought to have been unprovoked and left both victims needing hospital treatment for their wounds.

Officers have been carrying out enquiries into the attack and have now released CCTV images of two people they want to talk to in connection to the assault.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Around 5am on November 30, a man and a woman were hit with a broken glass bottle by another man outside Ye Olde Foundry in New Mill Street.

"The attack, which appeared unprovoked, left them both requiring hospital treatment.

"We appreciate these aren't the clearest images, but we are hoping someone who recognises this man or was in the area at the time can help."
