Marsh Park will get a new entrance archway, world war two benches, a look out point, information boards, fresh planting and pathway improvements.
The Friends of Marsh Park assisted by Wolverhampton Archaeology Group recently discovered what is thought to be the foundation remains of the look out post from World War Two.
The further improvements are being funded partly by grant support from the Future High Streets Fund and Brierley Hill Community Forum, with Brierley Hill and Wordsley South councillors Adam Davies and Wayne Little working on the project.
Councillor Davies said: "These are really exciting projects that add to the fantastic work the friends group do at Marsh Park all throughout the year.
"We hope the better signposting at the North Street entrance will help encourage even more people to visit our beautiful park, and that the other installations and exposure of the park's wartime history will add to an enjoyable experience when they visit.
Councillor Little added: "Marsh Park has such a special story and has played an important role for people in the area both during and after the World Wars.
"This revamp and investment will help continue that story for another generation to learn about and enjoy our park."
