Two men and a woman charged with multiple shop thefts in Walsall
Two men and a woman have all appeared in court after being charged with multiple shop thefts in Walsall.

John Scully, Verneasher Perry and Philip Ranford were all arrested on multiple counts of shop thefts around the town and appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court for first hearings.
Scully, 39, of Wilner's View in Pelsall, was charged with 10 shop thefts and appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court on January 25, as did Perry, 51, of New Street in Rushall, who was charged with six shop theft offences.
Ranford, 44, of Clockmill Road in Willenhall, was charged with five shop theft offences and also appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court on January 27.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We’ve arrested and charged two men and a woman with multiple shop thefts in Walsall.
"John Scully, 39, of Wilner's View in Pelsall, was charged with 10 shop thefts and appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court on January 25 for a first hearing.
"Verneasher Perry, 51, of New Street in Rushall, was charged with six shop theft offences and also appeared at the same court on the same day for a first hearing.
"Philip Ranford, 44, of Clockmill Road in Willenhall, was charged with five shop theft offences and also appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court on January 27 for a first hearing.
"The arrests were made by officers from our Priority Crime Team, Response and supported by officers from our Aldridge neighbourhood team.
"Shop thefts is a priority at Walsall LPA. We recently launched Op Marigold in a bid to tackle shop thefts across the Walsall borough.
"Good work has already taken place across the borough to combat shoplifting and our neighbourhood officers regularly work alongside businesses."
