One woman has been conveyed to hospital following a two-car crash in Brownhills

Emergency Services teams rushed to the scene of Watling Street, on the junction of The Parade, Brownhills, at around 2pm to reports of a crash involving two vehicles. 

One ambulance attended the scene and assessed the drivers of both vehicles. 

One woman was transported to Walsall Manor Hospital for further checks. 

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson, said: "We were called to reports of an RTC involving two cars on Watling Street, Brownhills, Walsall at 2.00pm today (Tuesday 4th February). 

"One ambulance attended and assessed the drivers of each vehicle. One driver, a woman, has been conveyed to Walsall Manor Hospital for further checks."

Bus diversions

National Express West Midlands have alerted of route changes to the service 937 due to an incident on The Parade, Watling Street, Brownhills. 

The service will now instead be diverted from Brownhills only, via Watling Street, Chase Road and Lichfield Road.

A National Express West Midlands spokesperson said: "Due to an incident on The Parade/Watling Street, Brownhills.

"Service 937 is diverting FROM Brownhills only via: Watling Street, Chase Road, Lichfield Road. Apologies for any disruption to your journey."
