Man suspected of hitting train worker at Black Country station is identified

A man suspected of attacking a train worker at a Black Country station has been identified after a public appeal.

The worker was allegedly struck by a male passenger suspected of being verbally abusive on a train that was running from Birmingham at about 2pm on January 28.

As a result of the injury the victim was treated at hospital.

British Transport Police said it had now identified a man whom the investigating officers wanted to speak to in connection with the alleged incident at Rowley Regis.
