Dudley crime update: Car seized and driver reported to court

West Midlands Police's Dudley teams have provided an update on what actions they have taken in the borough recently.

Publishing an update on Sunday (February 2) the force said Dudley Town PCSOs held a police surgery at a supermarket in Milking Bank where residents were able to raise concerns.

PCSOs also conducted the second week of a Junior PCSO scheme at Foxyards Primary School.

Halesowen police officers conducted a Speed Watch operation in Hayley Green to deter speeding vehicles in the area. Neighbourhood officers attended Cradley C of E Primary School for the third week of their Junior PCSO scheme.

The neighbourhood team also completed a parking patrol around Wollescote and Cradley. Fines will be sent to several drivers who were parked inconsiderately.

Police officers stopped a cloned car in Brierley Hill and detained the driver for a search. Checks showed he had a provisional licence, no insurance and the car had no MOT. The car was seized and the driver was reported to court.
