Pedestrian recovering after being hit by car near Wolverhampton Ring Road - police seeking witnesses

Now officers investigating the collision, which happened early on New Year's Day at the St David's junction with Broad Street, are appealing for motorists who were in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward.

The collision happened at about 5.30am. 

Wolverhampton police stated: "A man was struck by a blue Toyota Aygo and suffered facial injuries, from which he is still recovering. The driver is helping with inquiries as we work to establish exactly what happened.

"If you were driving in the area at the time, we'd ask you check your dashcam for any footage which may assist."
