The first afternoon of the trial, at Wolverhampton Crown Court, in which Annib Khan is accused of fatally stabbing Mohammed Osman Khan at a house in Buffery Road, Dudley on June 21 last year saw a police officer in the case cross examined.
Detective Constable David Bodenham played footage of the confrontation outside the house, just 30 minutes after the two had squared up on the car park of Netherton Islamic Trust Mosque and had to be separated.
Under questioning by prosecution counsel Kevin Hegarty KC, the officer showed footage of the incident outside the mosque, and then the alleged fatal stabbing at around 3.53pm.
Mr Hegarty said: "The stabbing footage shows someone who the officer identifies as Annib Khan clearly shoving someone who he identifies as his uncle Mohammed Osman Khan towards his van, with a large knife in his right hand."
