The Queen Street building is being used for filming as part of Channel 5's new crime drama 'Murder Before Evensong', which is based on Rev. Richard Coles’ best-selling novel.
Matthew Lewis, who is best known for playing Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films, is among the stars on the cast list for the new programme.
The Channel 5 and AMC Networks’ Acorn TV production is being filmed across the West Midlands over 13 weeks, including several days at the former Express & Star offices.
A source said film crews from The Lighthouse Film and Television would be in the building between Monday and Thursday, with filming set to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday.
