Police probe after reports of youths carrying knives in Bearwood
A police investigation has been launched after reports of youth spotted with knives in the Bearwood area.

Officers were called to High Street in Bearwood on Tuesday afternoon shortly after 3pm following calls from the public. However, no-one was seen with weapons when they arrived at the scene.
In a statement West Midlands Police said: "We received reports of knives being carried in Bearwood Road, Smethwick, at just before 3.30pm. We attended the area but no-one was seen with any weapons.
"Officers remained in the area to provide a visible presence. We know this will have been intimidating, and worrying, for others and we're carrying out further inquiries."
