Jury to be sent out on Wolverhampton murder trial
Summing up has taken place in the case of murdered Wolverhampton woman Helen Kempster.
Raul Sharma, aged 31, is appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court accused of her murder and rape. Miss Kempster, who was in her 40s, died hours after being found with catastrophic injuries in Kingsland Road, West Park in the early hours of June 16, 2022.
At the court on Monday, the jury heard the case for the prosecution and defence and were addressed by Judge Michael Chambers.
