The robbery happened at a shop on Aston Lane, Birmingham, shortly after 8.40pm on December 11 last year.

West Midlands Police said a man walked into the store for items including alcohol and bread.

A staff member spotted he had only paid for the bread and when challenged the man allegedly "pulled out a knife" and "made threats" before running out the store with stolen alcohol, a force spokesperson said.

Police have now issued a photo of a man they want to speak to following the robbery.
