Man, 49, arrested after cocaine, cash and phone found in a car in Cannock

A driver has been arrested after police found cocaine, cash and a mobile phone in a car in Cannock.

Just before 3pm last Thursday, officers from Staffordshire Police stopped a silver Vauxhall Insignia on Rosehill in Pye Green. 

The driver was found with cocaine, cash and a mobile phone.

A 49-year-old man, from the Cannock area, has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A.

He has been released on bail while police enquiries continue.
