Five arrested on suspicion of drug offences following police raids in Staffordshire

Five people were arrested on suspicion of drug offences after police searched a number of homes in Staffordshire.

On Friday (January 24), officers joined by police dogs raided six addresses in the Hednesford and Cannock areas.

Five people were arrested on suspicion of class A drug supply conspiracy.

The suspects included a 36-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, from Hednesford, as well as a 28-year-old man, a 39-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, all from Cannock.

They were all interviewed in custody and have since been bailed with conditions while police continue with their investigation, a Staffordshire Police spokesperson said.
