Seven fire engines initially responded to the scene on Oak Lane, shortly after 11.10pm on Sunday (January 26).
The blaze occurred inside a metal processing container at the site, with fire crews using water and foam throughout the night to help extinguish the flames.
On Monday morning, West Midlands Fire Service said crews were joined by firefighters from Warwickshire who provided foam to continue fighting the fire which was said to be "under control and contained".
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman has confirmed no one was injured in the blaze.
Police closed roads between Ham Lane and Oak Lane while fire crews worked at the scene, but access to neighbouring businesses was later permitted.
In a statement on Monday morning, a West Midlands Fire Service spokesman added: "As of 9.57am, six West Midlands Fire Service fire engines, a hydraulic aerial platform and a fire engine from Coleshill Fire Station are in attendance.
"We are expected to remain at this incident for some time."
In an update just before 1pm, the fire service said it had scaled down its resources at the scene to three fire engines and police had reduced their cordon in the area.
At about 3pm, fire crews were said to have continued making "good process".
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman added: "It’s expected that the remaining crews will leave the scene in the next hour, after handing over to the owner of the premises, who is in attendance.
"Further revisits will be conducted during the evening and night to ensure no additional firefighting action is required."
