The thefts of mainly keyless Range Rovers and Land Rovers costing up to £50,000 a piece took place in two separate spells, between January 7 and April 18 2022 and August 1 and October 13 2023.

Judge Talog Davies, before handing out sentences of between one year and six years at Wolverhampton Crown Court to each member of the group, who come from Wolverhampton, Walsall, Willenhall and Norton Canes said: "This was not the most intelligent of crimes as a trail was left across social media and elsewhere which may have led to the police getting information.

"Having said that there was an element of planning in it due to the fact that many of these cars, which numbered around 20 in each case, were stolen to order.
